The RoninBox app is your gym's member dashboard. Your data belongs to the gym, and the gym is the one who can delete it. Here we explain how to request it and what happens next.
How to request it
You have two options, and both lead to the same place:
- Tell your gym, in person or through the channel it uses with its members.
- Write to us at privacidad@roninbox.com from the e-mail address you signed up with, and tell us your gym's name and your username. If we can't verify that it's you, we'll ask you to confirm before doing anything.
We can't delete a gym's data on our own: the gym is responsible for it and makes the decision. If you write to us, we'll forward your request to the gym and let you know we've done so.
The gym must respond within one month of receiving your request.
What gets deleted
If your account has no recorded activity, the account is deleted along with the personal data it stores: name, e-mail, phone, ID document, date of birth, and photo. You can no longer log in to the app, and nothing of yours remains in the gym's dashboard.
What may be kept, and why
If your account has a history of classes, attendance, or payments, the gym can't fully delete it without losing those records. In that case, it cancels your membership: the account is deactivated, your subscriptions are canceled, and you can no longer log in. The associated data is kept only as long as the gym needs it or the law requires, for example for invoices and tax obligations, and is not used for anything else.
If you just want to stop using the app
Uninstalling the app from your phone doesn't delete your account or your data. If you just want to stop receiving alerts, you can remove the notification permission in your Android settings.
